LSE Monitors has developed analyzer based on photoacoustics with a quantum cascade laser to measure ammonia (NH3) or nitrous oxide (N2O) in ambient air down to the ppb level.

The company was started as a joint venture between Synspec B.V. Groningen and Sensor Sense B.V. Nijmegen. Thereby combining knowledge of laser spectroscopy, electronic design, analyser production and applications. More...
